Tree Surgeon Services - Our team at work Dismantling:

This is the removal of a tree where confined spatial requirements are a factor. The tree is taken down in manageable sections using a system of lowering rope techniques to bring the sections of tree down under control.

Felling:

Felling is the removal of the tree from ground level where there is sufficient space to accommodate the tree in its full size. A range of techniques are used to ensure the tree falls in the desired direction. Once on the ground the tree can be processed and be removed off site.

Pollarding:

Pollarding is a pruning system in which the upper branches of a tree are removed back to the main trunk, promoting a dense head of foliage and branches.

Crown reduction:

Crown reduction pruning is most often used when a tree has grown too large for its permitted space. This method results in a more natural appearance and increases the time before pruning is needed again.

Crown lifting:

Crown lifting is the selective removal of the lower branches of a trees crown to increase the distance between the base of the canopy and ground level. This allows more light through and can prevent obstruction to pedestrians or traffic below.
